Spring is about renewal, and a good clean can help your home feel fresh and inviting. Start with decluttering. What do you have sitting around that you no longer need? Can you give it away, donate it, or toss it? Don’t forget to take a look at the garage!
Improve the view by cleaning windows inside and out. Clean window frames and tracks to make opening windows to let in the breeze easier, and give sliding door tracks a good sweep and a scrub while you’re at it. Once you’ve finished with your spring cleaning, wax wood furniture to protect it from heat and humidity.
Set a Mood:
With the essentials taken care of and your home clean and fresh, it’s time to set a spring mood. Orlando doesn’t have four clearly separate seasons, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy seasonal scents and décor. Consider candles, wax melts, and soaps with spring fragrances like lemon and rose. Change out window coverings and linens for breezy spring colors like white and cream.
